Over the past 40 years I have driven many cars with over 300,000 sacred oil/filter changes on schedule and have NEVER had an oil related problem. In such situations, I cannot justify the price of a premium filter (people go crazy for reviews, open filters, send them to the lab, look under a microscope). It is in order. there is the money. One of my cars needs an oil change every 5km (about 4 times a year for me). Yes, the extra $10 for each change means nothing, but $40 a year, even for 5 years, is $200, so it adds up. If the opportunity presented itself again I'd grab it (these are REALLY very good filters) but if you're changing the oil on the daily schedule, take whatever's on offer.
