GEARWRENCH 12" Pitbull K9 V-Jaw Dual Material Tongue and Groove PliersAs I always do when I see a tool offered, I ask my husband if he wants it, but I knew he’d want this one. I got this for my husband as a replacement for a similar K*ipex brand one that he lost this past summer. After using it a few times this past week, he says it works great and was able to tightly grip a rounded-off bolt head, and also a stubby 3/4" pipe coupling. The teeth really bite into the material so well that you don't need to squeeze the pliers tightly while turning. Like the one it replaced, there are lots of adjustment slots so you don't ever have to find yourself in a situation where the handles are either open too wide or not enough as can happen with grove-joint pliers. The rubber grips prevent slipping, even with gloves on, and are wide enough that a hard squeeze doesn't cause discomfort. Highly recommend.
