I put the whisk back in place and snapped the strap into place. Now you "can" replace it with a new strap without this device, but I'm a bit skeptical about that. Maybe you can do it if you get three guys together, two of whom will stretch the band from opposite sides and one of whom will put the bar back in place. Otherwise, take this set. Making hard work easier is pretty cheap.
