Bought for my 2006 5.3 Silverado. It was very easy to install and the instructions are clear. The Airid whistle is much slimmer and better looking than the bulky standard whistle. At high revs you can hear and feel a slight difference. The truck feels more responsive, but I could imagine that. Don't waste your money on a full cold air intake, use the stock airbox with this pipe and you'll be fine. In the photo on the left is a bulky standard pipe, and on the right a new one
