Review on Mofeez 4x4 Outdoor Compound Angle Brackets for Deer Stand Hunting Blinds and Shooting Shacks - Set of 4 by Darren Boogie

In the past I have purchased several Summit Outdoors (competitor) lift bracket kits to build hunting platforms. I came across the Mofeez brand and decided to give them a try since they were $20 cheaper. Shipping was fast as it arrived in 2 days and the packaging is just a brown cardboard box with bubble wrap. There were no instructions, pictures, labels or anything like that. I went into my backyard to build my hunting platform and immediately noticed how much lighter the mofeez steel got, actually 30% lighter. As I began assembling the platform I noticed that the products were badly scratched and one of the brackets was bent so I couldn't fit my 2 x 6 in the slot. I also noticed that they are much shorter so I was concerned about safety and the 8 foot height. I think they are more for a light platform. Summit Outdoors have a lot more steel and have a much stronger weld and feel. I know I may have just had a duvet set but in general I wouldn't recommend wearing it over anything that has weight as I wouldn't trust it to withstand wind or heavier products. It was worth trying something new, but I wish I could spend the extra $20, at least I know I'm getting something made in the USA instead of a cheaper alternative.
