Just get them and attach them with no hassle. However, you must use two thumbs to press. Spent several months with a massage therapist who used these cups to treat chronic hip and butt issues. I've noticed great flexibility in these areas. I don't see this therapist anymore because I moved out of state. I ordered mugs to apply to my own body. If you want more suction control you'll need to buy a kit with a pump, but for the price and ease of use it's fine.
