This is our first toaster in 15 years. Before that we used a toaster. We make our own sourdough bread, so I need a toaster with a wider slot and something that looks good on the counter and doesn't take up a lot of space. It meets all requirements. I love the look of this toaster! Looks almost modern/vintage. It's compact enough that you don't have to clean it up between uses and toasts evenly and quickly. Sometimes our bread is too long to fit all the way in, but that's not because of the toasters. Crumbs happen to be part of toast, so do you really expect it to contain everything? No, but it still contains most of it. Would definitely buy again.
