It was purchased in pair with MikroTik hAP AC, which has been working for me for 6 years without any problems. The task is to increase the coverage area in the apartment. At first, having read some tips in the reviews about this model, I thought about setting up CAPsMAN, I started doing it according to the instructions on the network, but unfortunately nothing came of it. Then, after carefully reading all the tabs in the OS settings, I saw the line "Setup_Repeater" and realized that this is exactly what I need. The network has info on how to set up a router as a repeater and everything is much easier than CAPsMAN. There was a warning on the network that there MAY be a 2-fold decrease in speed from the repeater, but it doesn’t matter to me at all, the provider issues 150, if there is even 70 from the repeater, it will suit me 100%. As a result, I set up hAP AC Lite Tower as a repeater in 5 minutes. As a result, throughout the apartment there are 2 networks (2.4 hertz and 5 hertz), switching between routers occurs by itself. I am satisfied. If anyone could set up CAPsMAN correctly for me, I would be very grateful. By the way, there is a mobile application from MikroTik for setting up the OS - very convenient.
