Review on DVR Slimtec Dual M9, 2 cameras, black by Adam Rymko ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product is really good, I'm glad I bought it.

The registrar is good, writes from 2 cameras to different folders. Included is a disgusting power supply of the last century - for this money it would be possible to put a unit with just a good USB and a long cable so as not to occupy the cigarette lighter with one device. As a result, I had to buy just a long mini-usb cable and a good charger, say from Baseos. Dancing with a tambourine: 1) Then there was an implicit problem with the power supply (and on a standard charger too) - the registrar simply cut off every 15 seconds - went into sleep mode - checked on Scoda Octavia A7, A8 and on golf. I got the impression that the cigarette lighter is not a constant voltage. The problem was solved only after the regik was powered from a regular USB car. 2) The rear view camera is not bad, but it must be borne in mind that it is mainly for mounting in the cabin, it does not have any significant moisture protection. The mount is either on self-tapping screws (FU!) or on dumb double-sided tape - you need to change it right away, it does not hold the weight of the camera. The camera cable provides for laying under the ceiling, if you lead through the doorways - it may not be long enough. 3) With the price of the registrar from 6500 to 9000 - depending on where, it would be possible to put a wifi interface into it for copying video, all of it is even in Chinese regions for 2500. 4) With a great screen - just a terrible scary blue menu - the designer should remove his hands for this. There are many reviews on the Internet with a different menu - it is not in the current versions. In general - the reg is really good, and if you find it at a discount - it's a real must-have.

Pros
  • Functionality, camera quality, digests cards at 64 and 128, convenient camera switching, excellent viewing angle, easy setup
Cons
  • It would be possible to switch to Micro-USB, the rear view camera cable may not be enough, "night mode" is just for show, a terrible menu, it does not work on all charges, it requires dancing with a tambourine, there is no wifi and software
