This is without a doubt the easiest hardware I've ever installed. I bought it to replace my existing CD-ROM drive. It was as easy as removing the CD-ROM drive and sliding the rails to the DVD drive. Connect cable and start machine. Here it is. I then downloaded the DVD software and it was just as quick. I opened the DVD drive, put the CD in, it started automatically, booted up and was done in 2 minutes. I can listen to music or watch a movie. The product has truly set the standard for hardware installation. If you're good at making hardware changes to your computer, you'll appreciate its ease of use. If you've always been afraid to make changes or upgrades to your computer, this product is for you.
