I installed this system on an older Subaru to replace the old model. I received the device within three days of ordering, all parts were in stock and securely packaged. I tested the system on the workbench before installing it on Subaru. I had no trouble doing the test, the instructions that came with it had enough information on how to install it. I watched the recommended video on YouTube. This is a great video showing the test setup and explaining the installation steps. Actual installation likely depends on vehicle type. Installed on older Subaru, there were a few minor issues related to the vehicle and not the camera system. From start to finish it took me about 3 hours of testing, watching videos, reading instructions and testing the installed system. This could have been quicker; I had no reason to rush the project. I didn't find it necessary to do anything to set it up to get great quality images right out of the box. I have two questions for AMTIFO. I asked her via email. Both were answered immediately. I will write another review in 6 months or sooner if I have any suggestions on installation and maintenance.
