Review on Ecarke Adapter Robotics Convertor Connector by Jon Joung

I chose this to upgrade my son's Peg Perego John Deere Gator. He still enjoyed it as he got a little older, but his speed wasn't impressive. I decided to give it a try. I chose it for the on/off switch, built in fuse and quick connect connectors. It only took a few minutes to cut off the original connector and insert this battery adapter. This gave a very noticeable speed boost but stopped within the first minute. I checked the connections and everything looked fine. The Dewalt 5amp battery still had plenty of juice. Then I checked the fuse and it was blown. Luckily I had extra 20 amp fuses in my garage and put in a new one. This time he covered a total of 5 feet before the fuse blew again. Since all the connections were fine, I decided to put a 30 amp fuse. Success! He paced the yard most of the day, smiling from ear to ear. It worked well. The only other issue was that I couldn't find a way to mount the adapter with the screws that came with it. As a result, I ended up with a very large sponge for washing cars that was not used. I was able to slide the sponge in after the adapter and Dewalt battery were in the compartment and it helped keep the battery and adapter from moving. Very happy with the purchase.
