Make filling your Keurig easier!

This is the missing part you couldn't figure out when you thought you needed an easier way to fill your Keurig coffee maker. This screw is on the standard 3/8 compression fittings that almost everyone has on the end of their under sink water valves. The water supply hose then threads perfectly onto the male end, giving you a tee that you attach to the "OUT" side of the filter to the device you installed to fill the Keurig tank during filter changes, reassembly, etc. I used 1/4" straight hose for a 3/8 MIP (Male Iron Pipe Thread) valve, screwed it onto a brass elbow and drilled a hole in the tank near the rear top. FIP (Iron Pipe Female Thread) for Screwing it in through the top of the plastic tank. I then attached a small piece of hose to a brass fitting and routed it down into the tank to keep it from splashing around the cap. I also used a pair of rubber O-rings to seal between the " knot" and the hose barb to prevent leakage down the side of the tank. Open the valve on the tank and quickly fill as needed. Of course if you want to trust the float valve you can install it, but I was careful to trust him.
