Review on πŸ”§ Complete Soldering Iron Kit Electronics 60W - Adjustable Temp, Wire Stripper, Desoldering Pump, Tips, Stand, and More from Plusivo by Richard Edwar

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Comes with all parts needed for first electronic soldering repairs.

I'm not an electrician and to be honest I haven't used a soldering/piston set in years. After trying to borrow my dad's soldering iron, which just didn't get hot, I figured damn I'd just buy it. I only needed a soldering iron and heat shrink tubing for a little work. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm just a regular person trying to solder a few wired things here and there and I'm not doing any big electrical projects or jobs in any way. For $8, this kit has everything I need. ! The kit comes with a small ziplock bag containing various sizes of heat shrink tubing, solder, a bunch of stuff I don't really need, and even a small gauzy sponge. Everything worked fine. I had to turn up the power to get the soldering iron to heat the wires so I could melt the solder on them, but overall it was great. The only negative is not laughing when you open the soldering tube. All my life I've tried unscrewing, twisting, pulling, knocking, jerking, bumping the lid and it won't come off. After 30 minutes (yes, I'm serious) I grabbed the tiny flat head that came with the kit and ripped off the suction cup.
