Review on 📝 Enhance Your Sketching Experience with Faber Castell Sketch Pad by Domonique Rieder

The first thing many people might think when they see this black sketch pad is that it's just colored paper, but it's not. Faber-Castell Black Notebook is much smoother, finer grained and darker in black than colored paper. Both were available to me, so I photographed them side by side. The photo shows the difference quite well. Here I've played with chalk pastels, which work well, and colored pencils (I use Prismacolor Premier), which work even better. The pencils draw fluently and the black background is a welcome change. It's not the best black paper, but it's good for what it is. This is a good starting paper if you want to play around with painting on black.
