I am a retired Navy Veteran, a welder by trade. This is the second cored wire welder I have had in the last 8 years. I bought this one when the other was beyond repair. Look at every FC b4 welder you buy and you won't regret it. This Etosha turned out to be a very good welder. Here's a tip. Isolate a separate circuit or disable everything else on the same circuit as your circuit breaker will burn out after 1-2 minutes of welding. I found out about this when I had 2 headlights and a fan on the same 20A switch as the welder. After switching off, the welder worked perfectly. I can recommend this welder and one more piece of advice. Use 1lb Lincoln .030/.035 wire spools for best weld quality, I use .035.
