All in all, a perfectly ordinary but well-built telephoto lens with very good value for money. Of course, under Sony E there are much more expensive, fancy, high-aperture and pin-cut models, but most inexperienced users will not see any fundamental differences from the modest 55-210. Has pros: * High-quality, as with most Sony lenses, constructive. The lens feels like a nice, moderately heavy beer can. * Sharpness is beyond praise, while the picture is beautiful and natural, without "ringing details". * Range of focal lengths - from portrait to "tele". * Stabilization, great helping out at long focal lengths. * Low price even in a new form. Cons below: * Small aperture, and, as a result, the absence of any exquisite bokeh, as well as a very limited ability to shoot at night. * Somewhat slow autofocus with a "decorative", completely unusable manual focus ring.
