I bought this for my son's birthday as an elf on the shelf gift. I checked all the bulbs before installing this morning and they worked fine for a short time. Soon after, blue, cyan, and purple stopped working. I disabled it and tried again and after jiggling the connection a few times it worked. When we went downstairs to show his cousin tonight, the blue and cyan didn't light up, purple turned red. I'm not sure what's going on but I can get it off as the glue has peeled the paint off my wall. Updated: After 4 months, the light does not go out. When we turn it off it becomes a faded red. I've googled for reset instructions but no luck. We have to take it off, but of course the glue will remove the paint from the wall.
