I was hoping to use Tris for one person work but it didn't work out. In any case, the pump creates a vacuum and allows the master cylinder reservoir to be emptied. I also used it to bleed the brake line to the wheel cylinder, but that's about it. I've tried using this to bleed the brake lines after changing a wheel cylinder, but it doesn't create enough vacuum to get brake fluid from the master cylinder to the brake cylinder no matter what I try (and I have a lot of different things on this myself). Ended up getting wife and kids to help bleed the brakes! 0 Try the old-fashioned way. It might be fine for other vacuum applications, but don't think you can do the braking work with that alone. The pump has withstood everything I've tried, but it feels a little flimsy. Definitely nothing that can be used by force.
