Should have listened to the reviews. I bought the magnets to put on the bottom of my plastic shower curtain liner, from amazon. It is quite thin and can sometimes fall outside the shower base, letting water on the floor.The magnets arrive all stuck together in a pile and are impossible to separate by hand. No instructions were enclosed. Had to YouTube it.When I finally got the magnets to separate, I tried sticking one to the magnets that came with the curtain. The attraction was very weak, almost useless. So I used 2 of the rare earth magnets, one on each side of the curtain. Wow, they leapt at each other, but they also got entangled with the other rare earth magnets further down the bottom edge of the curtain, and are almost IMPOSSIBLE to separate.Conclusion, the magnets stick strongly to each other, but not to other kinds of magnets.They are very difficult to separate and if there are other magnets nearby, they will attract each other whether you want them to or not.For my purposes, these magnets didn’t work.
