Review on 4353 AR DST Water Efficient Pull Out Kitchen Stainless by John Wells

Have this faucet before Bought it a few months ago and installed it myself. The installation is normal, there are no complaints about it. The finish is good, mechanically average. The two main complaints I have about it that would make me not recommend this item are how the foil fits on the base and the temperature control. The retractable wand fits snugly against the base. It doesn't use a magnet or weight to attach it like some others do. This causes the nozzle to sometimes come loose if you don't push hard enough to lock it in place. The second and biggest complaint is the temperature control. Operating the handle is smooth and comfortable, but there's virtually no separation between hot and cold. If you don't move the button in the very small spot in the middle, you will get either very hot water or very cold water. I'd say turn it on to 1/16" if you want warm water. It's not good for frequent use. I'll spend a little more money on a different faucet in the future. If you want a less expensive sink faucet that you don't use much this is probably fine but I wouldn't recommend them for everyday use UPDATE: (4/12/2020) This faucet will be replaced soon It's been about 2 years and if you try to turn it off , it will keep dripping unless you put the knob in the right spot. It should be slightly to the right or it will drip. Again, spend a little more and get something better. This can be for a rental property or as a replacement for a rare one be suitable.
