Suitable for bibs with soil
Use this insulating cover to protect the oddly shaped bib that we find in our flower beds. It was too high, so I folded it up and secured it with an elastic cord. We've had temperatures as high as 11 degrees (unimaginable in San Antonio, Texas) and below freezing for several days, so I put an empty box on top to block the wind. It seemed to work - nothing was leaking from the faucet and there wasn't a single broken pipe. It was located on the south side of the house and used geothermal energy.
