Large hooks are best for chains and rope
These hooks were larger and thicker than expected. For industrial lifting/holding power, not tiny kitchen utensils for hanging pots and pans. So every hook is heavy. They are exactly as shown in the ad. I need them to hang stuff on the walls of my locker and they should more than live up to the bill. Each hook can probably hold more than 250 pounds. Since they're stainless steel, they should work just fine outdoors. What I like is that they have deep curves so they stick well to the sheet metal bar at the top of the 15ft locker wall and don't slide off.
