Is this a cheap case? Yes. $40 is the easiest thing to get, but this case is so poorly designed that it's VERY clear that the idiots who designed the case never put any hardware into it. They just called it good in their 3D software and sent it to production. I always thought Thermaltake was synonymous with poor quality, but this case wins. The number of clipped corners and their absence is noticeable, although lacking in things that would be included in even a $20 suitcase. There is nothing about this case other than the fact that it holds your gear. That's all. You can do better for $20 or even $30. I have no advantage in this business. General. There's nothing redeeming about that. The side motherboard access holes on the 24-pin power side are completely useless. It's so slim that once you put your motherboard inside, the cables you need won't go through. A 24-pin connector won't go through unless you really push it through, and even then you generally always want anything near the 24-pin patch, no, you have 3/8" of it. Marked. So you're going to have to do an old 2000's alignment of your motherboard and hole marks when it could just engrave - Plastic thumbscrews? Seriously? Even a $20 case has metal screws Literally worth a dime - The front underside of the Der Fall is a huge hole. It just opens up for no reason. There's not even a filter in there. Dust goes to the point of least resistance and there's a big hole at the bottom for it to pass through. No problem why is the one that is open at all AND WHY IS THERE NO FILTER - There is no opening for the 8-pin power connector that has almost always been present since 2005 - Housing cable Good that they have provided a slot for you to use this zumi ndest behind the case and up to the motherboard if you don't want to use the 5.25 bay. Then you have NO holes to route them, now you can run more cables through the motherboard. My favorite place. favorite part. If you have a motherboard with side-attached SATA ports like most have for 10 years. You cannot use SATA cables that use the new standard with metal clips. The side guide hole is literally the same height as the top of the SATA connector. So you have to bend the hole almost up to make room to plug it in, and then your "button" to release the cable is completely covered, making it a hassle to pull the cable back out. - Seriously, it's 2020 and we're making PCI covers? Again literally pennies to just roll up the holes and twist the screw caps.
