The Allsense Leather Mask Lanyard was an interesting alternative to the less expensive lanyards that are widely available on Revain. I liked the idea of a leather lanyard – both for style and for durability.I also realized that, unlike the other lanyards, there was no way to tighten it (tightening it helps move the mask to the face, and to keep it attached to the back of the head). I figured that I’d give it a try.I like that it’s easier to use a higher quality ring to attach to the straps on the mask. This is better than the somewhat cheaper device on the less expensive lanyards.This lanyard used primarily to let you hang the mask around your neck until you have to put the mask back on.I’m not sure that, although it’s described as leather, it may be the stuff made of plastic that’s supposed to be textured like leather (something sometimes called Pleather), rather than the real thing that holds cattle in. Also, although it was supposed to be Navy Blue, what I got was more of a Royal Blue – a color that wasn’t even available.At a premium price, you may like to use this to keep you from losing your mask. It looks better than the cheaper fabric lanyard. If you’re more interested in style than money – or the ability to tighten the mask behind your head, this would be a good buy.I don’t think I’ll buy another.
