Alright folks. I had to make sure my trailer tongue weight was within the limit. This little rascal is high quality, small, easy to use and does its job well. Made a small wooden case for it to protect it and I am very happy with the product. Actually I will buy a larger capacity model very soon. Easy to use. Driven my car into a very flat parking lot. Measured the drawbar height of the trailer still attached to my truck. Locked trailer wheels, unhitched trailer, truck driven away. Installation of scales on the store, hydraulic jack. Carefully raise the jack until the scale touches where the ball was. He lifted the jack to lower the tongue of the trailer onto the scale. Using a jack, lower the trailer tongue to the same height as when it is connected to the truck. Read the weight value on the scale. Presto! 520 pounds. Within my limits! Thank you guys!
