I bought this because I'm a cyclist and I ride my bike in late fall/early spring, often when it's cold outside. My bike helmet is vented so I'm cold so I needed some kind of hat to keep my head warm. And it worked GREAT. If you go to a bike catalog or bike hardware website, you'll pay a lot for a bike helmet liner. The material of this helmet cap is very thin, but still warms the head. And the most important thing: thanks to the thin fabric, it does not interfere with the fit of the bike helmet. The fabric has some flex so it fits most heads. And it doesn't slip on your head. He stays where he is. There are two sections of the same fabric that tie at the back so you can really control how tightly you tie them. When you ride with my bike helmet you don't notice the cap and you don't feel the cap on your head. And my bike helmet still fits my head perfectly. When I take off my bike helmet the cap is still in place - it hasn't moved on my head during the ride. I also have to say that this cap looks damn cool when I take off my bike helmet after a tour. I even bought a second one, it worked great.
