Review on 10-Pack Strip Discs for Angle Grinder - Rust Remover Wheel, Paint Removal Disc - Clean Paint, Rust, Welds, Oxidation (4-1/2'' x 7/8'') by John Hall

These discs are great for removing paint and rust from vintage garden tractors that I build and restore. They flake off VERY quickly, along with surface rust to shiny metal. The best part is that they do NOT gouge the metal, so you have to spend a lot of time hand sanding the scratches before painting. I get great results by wiping down with a degreaser after sanding and using a primer with some build up before the top coat. NOTE: If the metal has deep rust craters, the rust will NOT be removed from the craters. Something like that would have to be acid etched before priming. Can you tell me I like these CDs? A real time saver for me!
