Review on OXO Good Grips Compact Brush & Canister Toilet Brush, 1 Pack, Biscuit: Efficient Cleaning Solution for Bathrooms by Vanessa Jones

Let me start off this review by saying that I think the price of a toilet brush is outrageous. But to be honest this is a good solution for my personal cleaning preferences. I admit I'm a bit girly when it comes to cleaning dirty things and it helps because I never have to get my hand too close to the toilet or clean the end of this thing. The clamshell container opens when you start pulling out the brush, so DO NOT touch ANY part that may have come in contact with the cleaning end - hooray. When I'm done washing, I flush the toilet twice while holding the flush head under a clean-running faucet. After that, I tap the rim of the toilet with it several times to drain the excess water, then put the brush back in the canister and it closes again. Hooray again! I've moved it several times to sweep and mop the floor and I haven't noticed any of the water stains or rust that other reviewers have mentioned when reviewing this brush or others with a similar storage case. I always make sure to shake off the excess "clean" water before putting it away, but I don't stand there for five minutes and let it dry, soooo. Pour out the water before putting it away and you probably won't have this problem either. I wish this item was in colors other than black and white (maybe it is, but those were the only two colors available when I ordered) but I just took my can of black outside and quickly wore two coats with an oil rub on. Bronze spray paint and it goes well with all of the other ORB pieces in my guest bathroom. As I said, this is an expensive toilet brush, but it's worth it.
