I've paid nearly 3 times the price for another brand, but this one is just as good! The front quarter and beak are fully protected from rain and wind. The sides and back are VERY wind and drizzle resistant and also do a good job of venting excess heat/moisture. The beak is the narrowest (even compared to cycling caps) I've ever had (only the outer eye is wide!) but that wasn't a problem - I only notice it when I look in the mirror - doesn't affect functionality.
