Review on Keyhole Tailgate Latch Handle for 2007-2013 Toyota Tundra, Replaces# 69090-0C040, 690900C040, 81213 by Kyle Bonnell

I have a 2008 Tundra (no backup camera) and it took 5-10 minutes to remove the old latch and install the new one. The latch works great but is PLASTIC like the original parts and presumably the seller has a 12 month warranty which makes this option MUCH better than the dealer original parts in my opinion. Before installing, I recommend applying carburetor cleaner and then white lithium grease to the moving springs on either side of the tailgate. This latch is not designed to withstand shock, so cleaning and lubricating the mechanism will help prolong its life. I will repost if anything changes. Much luck!
