The printer arrived very well packaged. Assembly was pretty easy if you watch a few YouTube videos as the instructions provided are not clear or go into much detail. The parts are well made and actually come with a few extra screws that I never get. No tools are required other than the tools provided. It took several hours to assemble, and several more hours before I had the confidence to start printing. I read beforehand that heavier springs are recommended for a heated bed, so I ordered yellow springs and installed them at the time. The included filament is enough to make a few small prints. Overall I'm impressed with the high quality of the parts and the solid construction you get for the money. I wish it was easier to update the firmware as it doesn't come with a bootloader so it requires a Raspberry Pi like a mini PC and 6 wires to the motherboard plus a few more hours of learning and setup. All in all, I would definitely recommend this printer to anyone looking to buy their first 3D printer. By the way, it was my first.
