Review on 🏡 GE Lighting Cync Outdoor Smart Plug: Wi-Fi/Bluetooth Enabled, Alexa/Google Assistant Compatible, No Hub Required by James Hess

Already have 2 Cync switches and they work great. Was looking for an option for our outdoor lighting as our manual timer shuts off every time the power goes out. Decided to give it a try and got exactly what I expected. Mounted with the supplied screw, plugged in and the sync app recognized it straight away. Plugged in, plugs and individual switches named and my Alexa app found it immediately. It controlled my outdoor lights in about 15 minutes from box opening to completion. It took me longer to find a concrete drill than anything else. Plan to use it for our Christmas lights when the time comes! For feedback that the internet connection is not working, we have a mesh system and satellite router specifically for our external ring system. I connected this plug to this router and it worked great. As for weather resistance, time will tell; ours is covered and behind a large flower pot so I think that should continue.
