Review on Aluminum 🎮 PlayStation WEme Extension Extender by Bud Crabtree

Okay, here's my scenario. My entertainment system has an Oppo UDP-203 disc player with a USB 2.0 port on the front and two USB 3.0 ports on the back. When I connect an external drive to the rear 3.0 ports, the player doesn't recognize it, be it a USB flash drive or an externally powered hard drive. When I plug the same device into the front 2.0 port, it is recognized. I wanted to be able to use the rear ports to play video files, so I decided to try this 3.0 extension. Results? If I plugged an extension cord into one of the rear ports and then plugged an external device into that extension cord that wasn't previously recognized by a direct connection, it was recognized. Excellent! However, even that 16.4 foot extension cord wasn't enough to connect it from the nearest computer room, so I had to plug it into another 3.0 extension cord I had on hand, which added an additional 15 feet to get it working bring to. When I tested it at full range this time, the device was not recognized. I happened to have a connector for a powered USB hub that I no longer use, and it met the specifications for powering this cable. at 5V and 2000mA. Once I connected the power adapter to the cable, voila. My device was recognized again, even with the extra 15ft cable. Wire to use instead, and interestingly the extra 10ft of wires did NOT require a power source. Devices are recognized without them. otherwise my external devices were not recognized. When I added an additional 15ft extension it still worked, but only with the added power supply. When I added another 10 feet it still worked without a power source. To top it all off, I would like to add that this extension cord seems to be very well made. It's really thick and the plug connector has a metal body with an indicator light to show when it's active. I also got a particularly good deal on the Revain Warehouse deals which were just the icing on the cake. Sorry if this review is a bit wordy but I thought my experience might be helpful to you.
