Works perfectly and has an auxiliary power input.

Unlike other brands of USB 3.0 extenders, WEme has an extra power inlet (I bought a different brand of cable where it said it was, but the final product didn't have an inlet). It works flawlessly - and I train it: I have a dedicated astronomy camera attached to it (QHY 183C if you're interested in specs - 15fps at 20MP). The framerate I get is the same when I plug it directly into my computer (i.e. no extension cord). I'm so glad I've already bought a second one.

DOES NOT extend the USB 3.0 port for Oculus Rift sensors.

Supposed to be a USB 3.0 extension cable compatible with Oculus Rift sensors, but it actually isn't. This is a great USB 2.0 extender for Rift sensors, but it doesn't match 3.0. Even if a 5V adapter is connected to the extender, this cable does not provide a reliable USB 3.0 extension for the Oculus Rift sensor. I've tried plugging it into multiple USB 3.0 ports to no avail. Apparently the sensors log in as USB 3.0 when I plug them in without an extension. I am very disappointed in this cableโ€ฆ

Works with Oculus Link

Used for Oculus Link. Works great and doesn't require a power adapter. Note that there is a repeater in the middle of the 10m cable. For me it's 5 meters to the playing field and 5 to the cable. You still need a good quality but short USB-CA cable from the headset to the power strip. At the end of the socket, where you connect the headset, you can hang this box on your belt or in your trouser pocket. The cable weighs the Ethernet cable. TO EDIT:. I cannot boot on my PC with the cable plugged in

Another Happy Oculus Quest User

I bought this 33ft cable + 10ft anchor cable everyone approved and got it working on my Oculus Quest on the first night. There have been a number of updates to Quest for their "Oculus Link" (still in beta) and its ability to play PC VR games. I had hundreds invested in my Steam library and knew I would need the reach to play HL:Alyx and other games on this device or it would be returned. I was not disappointed. I can't believe I customized 43ft for a tethered VR experience and that it can evenโ€ฆ

Excellent solution for extended USB 3.0 range.

I found this WEme USB 3.0 Active Extension to be a bit pricey, but it had the best reviews of the products I tested. After a month of use I understand why it has such good reviews and feel it is really worth the asking price. I received the 25ft version which comes with the required power adapter. I ran this cable along with a 25ft HDMI cable behind the sofa the full length of my small living room. We recommended using the included power supply for expansion, although I connect the hub with its

Perfect for my needs

Okay, here's my scenario. My entertainment system has an Oppo UDP-203 disc player with a USB 2.0 port on the front and two USB 3.0 ports on the back. When I connect an external drive to the rear 3.0 ports, the player doesn't recognize it, be it a USB flash drive or an externally powered hard drive. When I plug the same device into the front 2.0 port, it is recognized. I wanted to be able to use the rear ports to play video files, so I decided to try this 3.0 extension. Results? I have a home built gaming PC that I have in my living room. I used wireless devices for my mouse and keyboard, but wireless interference between the keyboard, mouse, headset, and my camera caused all kinds of lag, and then when we wanted to play games with controllers, there were cables running around the room and it was driving my wife crazy will. It was perfect from the start, allowing me to run the cable through the wall behind my computer and TV, through the floor to the basement, and then
