Check the bushing for alignment with the gear.

I installed one of these about a year ago and got lucky. It fits very well with the gearbox with very little backlash with an Id of around 34mm. Fits well. When I got this one it was slightly larger and casually matched the gear. I called Ratech and explained my problem and they said it would still work but I just giggled when I pulled out the normal style. I just didn't like how it fit. I don't know why they changed the size, the old one fits perfectly. It was on Ford 8.8.
