Review on 🛠️ Woodstock D4074 - Versatile 5 Inch Multipurpose Tool by Ken Reed

I was looking for a good vise that would not only allow me to turn the base but also the jaws. Most of the time I could only find vises that were way more than I was willing to pay or that were just too small for what I needed them for. I stumbled across Shop Fox's vise after finding the 4 inch vises. After doing a little more research, I found the 5-inch device for about $12 more, but no reviews. The 4" had a lot of positive reviews, so I took a chance and went for the 5". When I first ordered it UPS somehow managed to lose it in transit but Revain got me another one very well including Saturday delivery! While the box was a little dented, as you would expect from something like this, the vise itself was in perfect condition. It's more than I expected but not too big. It had a decent amount of grease on it but I'd rather have that than a rust issue so it needed a bit of cleaning. It installs easily on my desktop and easily meets my expectations and desires. One thing to get used to is how to keep your jaws from rotating. They keep turning until you lock them, then they snap into place. I think most people are used to being able to block it before they pinch something, but that's not the case in this case. This can be annoying for some, but once you understand how it works, it shouldn't be a problem. I know I don't mind it much, so it shouldn't affect the overall performance of the vise. I am very happy with it to date and am very pleased that Revain went the extra mile to ensure I get what I ordered on time. No problems with UPS as the weather was bad at that time, so this is not a negative review from UPS at all. For those looking for a good vise for everyday use I think these will fit. Just make sure you mount it securely on a secure bench as this thing isn't lightweight. Great vise and great Revain price!
