Very bright in accent & off-road lighting
Well done, but too bright in my opinion. I like a license plate light that's bright enough that the cops don't punish me for being dim, but no brighter. Two of these will allow people in other cities to read your sign. The board is held by silicone so it can be taken out easily. They are based on a voltage regulator so I changed the 2.4 ohm resistor (R3) to 47 ohms and the brightness is much better (less). Still too bright for me, but adequate.
