Review on 🔧 POWERTEC 71391 Precision Miter Gauge System: 24” x 3” Track Fence with 27 Stops for Table Saws by Bubba Baldwin

I used this with my Dewalt DWE7485 compact table saw. Pros: - Love the super accurate sensor - Love the solid feel of the stop, block stop and sensor - Can adjust the slip tolerance very easily Cons: - The underside of the platen is plastic and the underside of it isn't flush with the metal sliding strip - both sensors are also not level with a metallic gliding strip - hence both the sensor and the plastic parts hit the table individually when the gliding strip is on the rail so they have to be "nudged" to clean the front one corner of the table. Disappointing. - The stopper is so heavy/long that it could knock the transducer over from the side of the compact table (not the stopper's fault, the table may not be the right size for this particular instrument). All in all, I'll keep playing with it, but I'm disappointed that the tool isn't completely flush with the ground right out of the box. I've tried different shims in different places to try to make the bottom more flush but this makes the whole slide unstable/ tipsy. Haven't found a good solution yet. May be suitable for other table saws/tools with slide bar.
