To be fair it works. I'm not sure how much it actually has to do with it forming a barrier on the water or because it smells ridiculously strong. The package suggests 2-5 splashes on the water before you go and I'd be horrified to attempt more than two. You will fill the air with a very enveloping scent as soon as you atomize it, which could astound me in my small bathroom after 5 puffs. The lavender-vanilla scent here is very "heavy", not quite the peaceful scent I would normally expect from this fragrance combination. Since it doesn't contain as much ozone as aerosol cans, I suppose it's still better than typical aerosol can air fresheners, which are both loud and obvious afterwards, but I'm really surprised there aren't more comments on how strong this is isn't even aerosol.
