I have a gas oven and stovetop. I also have Parkinson's disease which has taken away my sense of smell. I couldn't smell the slightest gas leak when I was in the same room with him. For a while I relied on the GasKnight detectors. I'm already pretty good with tools and believe I can fix small mechanical problems. The new GasKnoght has the portability that lets you pinpoint exactly where a leak is, just like a gas company technician. I must have detection devices. If you have read this far, then you have similar interests. If you're also mechanically inclined, this device will be a welcome addition to your toolset. And if you don't have a stationary detector yet, but you can smell it, this will also come in handy. I need that even if I never need it.
