Review on MK 12Mm T2 2 Distortion MFT Panasonic by Erica Welch

When I opened the box, I was surprised by the size. I thought it would be huge but it turned out to be very compact. I'm used to using Metabones 0.71x with Sigma Art Series and Panasonic MFT photo lenses. I wanted to buy stock cine lenses because I think the extra glass from Metabones will affect the image quality of my EF lens. Panasonic lenses focus-by-wire doesn't allow me to use stabilizers and focus tracking systems. When I first put this lens on my BMPCC4K I was amazed at the sharpness of this lens. The large aperture at T/2.2 creates a nice shallow depth of field. The best place for this lens is T/2.8-T/5.6. This is where the lens is at its sharpest. It shines between this area. I can finally use my AF tracking systems with my BMPCC4K and BMMCC. Now I buy the whole set! If you have an MFT camera and are looking for cheap cinema lenses, buy this lens and the whole kit. This is a must!
