Good machine, could be better.

This is a handy accessory for adding power outlets to a desk or cabinet. We used it in the built-in closet as a charging station for laptops. As others have noted, the device doesn't sit very well in the hole, but a bit of tape helps. The problem I have is that the cord is stiff enough that when you insert it into the closet, the cord deflects the loop a bit so that the next time you pull it out, it gets stuck at the bottom of the closet. device as it no longer falls into the hole. I think a piece of PVC pipe might help mitigate this, but it looks like it needs some thought in the design. It's also the best way to use duct tape (or the little metal grips that come with the kit, which I've tried and found useless) to hold the device in the hole. I mean something clamped under a hole or by cutting a pipe to mate with a flange at the bottom, pipe fitting in the hole and inserting the device. In all cases, however, it functions as an electricity supplier and hides to the side when not in use. It can be a pain to get it back.
