I installed it today and as other reviewers have noted it is a very loose fit. I was able to fix this with double sided tape and now the power tap fits snugly in the 2 1/2" diameter hole. I wish it had tapered edges that increased towards the top so it narrows as you press the power tap Tap on the hole but I digress.Double sided tape comes in a variety of thicknesses and gauges but I used 15lb 3M tape and was only able to use half the packaging otherwise it would be too thick.I will probably…

This is a handy accessory for adding power outlets to a desk or cabinet. We used it in the built-in closet as a charging station for laptops. As others have noted, the device doesn't sit very well in the hole, but a bit of tape helps. The problem I have is that the cord is stiff enough that when you insert it into the closet, the cord deflects the loop a bit so that the next time you pull it out, it gets stuck at the bottom of the closet. device as it no longer falls into the hole. I ordered two different designs, one was cheaper and smaller than the other. I installed it in the new quartz countertops in my kitchen and it is absolutely perfect. Sunk very unobtrusively, it rises gently and lies flat on the counter. The design is a standard three pin plug, so no special wiring is required. He's perfect and looks great.

I like this article very much. We used it in the center of a 10ft long x 3cm thick quartz countertop/cabinets standing against a wall in our dining room. We used a hidden extension cord so we didn't have to place outlets above the countertop. All requirements were thus fully met. The unit is a little smaller than I expected with an extended extension piece that is only about 6 inches long but still has 4 outlets. It folds up nicely when not in use.
