Review on 🚿 Grohe 46092000 LadyLux Hose: 15mm x ½ x 1500 inches, Chrome - High-Quality Plumbing Replacement Hose for LadyLux Faucets by Mike Malvo

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Big psychic rewards come with the right OEM part, 50% off, and drip-free installation in less than 10 minutes!

I was very worried at first because all the stock photos of this part 46-092-000 on the internet didn't look like the detail of the brass end with o-ring and quick release threaded end of my old broken part. flexible hose. So, half pissed, I figured I'd trust the other Revain reviews that said it was actually the real deal. Wow! Was I ever glad I did! Other reviews said it took 10 minutes to install a new replacement hose on my 8 year old Grohe Lady Lux faucet. Gross exaggeration! It lasted no more than five (not including prep for washing) and it fit perfectly, not a drop spilled! The only tool required is a 13mm open-end wrench to unscrew the old end of the hose from the water line quick connector and then re-tighten the new end to that connector. Slip joints, a vise, small crescent wrench, or similar tool will likely work just as well. Note: The 1/2" open end is NOT suitable for flat surfaces - just a tad too small. Installation is not difficult. My old hose broke about 1 inch from the spray head so the weight of the old hose caused it to slide down the faucet neck into the under sink cabinet where it lay like a dead chrome snake. Procedure: First turn off the cold and hot water taps under the sink. Clear the space and then disconnect the plastic quick connector that attaches the torn flexible hose to the small diameter water pipe it is attached to by pushing the quick connector up while pulling its clamp in. Hold the green/black (or older yellow/black) plastic coupler in one hand and use a 13mm wrench on the flats of the old chrome hose fitting to disconnect. Save the long, thin spring covering the old hose for future use. Slide the new threaded atomizer head cone frame (or use a familiar old one, like I did) onto the new hose, then connect this end of the new hose to the atomizer head after unscrewing the original cone frame. Assemble, remove the old broken end and insert a new brass sleeve with O-ring into the gun head, then screw the hose onto the gun and hand tighten the hose frame. Insert the new hose back into the faucet neck and reattach the spray head to the faucet neck as usual. Now go under the sink and slip the new piece of flexible hose onto the original tension spring you saved earlier (easier than described). Once it's on, reattach the plastic quick connector to the threaded end of the new flexible hose and tighten with a 13mm wrench. Now reattach the entire assembly to the pipe using the quick coupler. You can now open the water valves again and voila! - You're back in business. You can do it all in about the time it takes you to read this and you will feel great that you did it yourself and saved so much money with this replacement tube. The replacement hose sold here at Revain is an OEM. Part, fits perfectly and about 50% off the list. In general, I doubt you can find anywhere cheaper. As a "conscientious buyer" I gave it a try. Save time. I paid an additional $5 for Priority Mail shipping and it was delivered from New York to Southern California in 2.5 days! No 9% CA sales tax on expedited shipping fees.
