Review on ๐Ÿšด Stay Hydrated on Your Adventures with the CamelBak Women's Daystar 16 Hydration Pack, 85oz by John Huskisson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Designed for women but also suitable for men

I bought this bag to use as a daily backpack, camera bag and laptop bag. It works well for all three purposes and I love that I can use this bag so flexibly. I used it for the first time at a music festival with the water tank inserted. It easily fits everything you need for the day including a light hoodie, concert blanket, snacks and some photo gear. It was easy to get in and fill up the reservoir at the festival. Now I use it as a bag for my camera and laptop. When I remove the water tank my laptop slides nicely into the room. And it is also soft and gives him enough protection. To use it as a camera bag, I added a Crumpler camera bag insert to the bottom to protect my lenses and camera body. The top pocket on the bag is a nice touch and is big enough to hold some items. I use it at airport security and keep it in my watch, wallet and other personal items. I should also point out that although this bag is marketed as a women's bag, the style, size and cut suits everyone. I suppose the straps should be cut slightly differently for women's frames, but I've had no problems with them and they're comfortable to wear. The only reason this isn't a 5 star rating is that the material seems a bit thinner and of lower quality. than some of the other CamelBak packs I've purchased in the past. I don't expect it to last forever but I think the price is right and I'll just replace it after a few years if needed.
