Ordered by mistake without realizing it was a 12V device. It was too late to cancel the order when I noticed, but when the item arrived I found that although it does require 12V power, it uses the Raspberry's 3.3V GPIO signal Pi works fine. Luckily in my case my system has a 12V power supply so I can use this device. If anyone is wondering if you are providing 12V power, you can successfully power them with a 3.3V logic signal from a Pi or other device. It looks like only the power supply needs 12V, not the trigger input.
