This magnet seemed solid and well built. However, as with other reviews, on the second outing the metal ring unscrewed from the magnet, leaving just the ring and the clip at the end of the rope. If I had noticed the ring unscrewing I would have used some loctite etc to secure it. When I reported that the magnet came off the ring to the seller, without hesitation they sent a newer version of this magnet that apparently does not have this issue. I haven't tried it yet.Minus one star for the inconvenience, but a solid four excellent customer service. Maybe we'll use the new magnet to see if we can get the old magnet back :).
