Simthread, my favorite
Simthread never disappoints me. I do a lot of machine embroidery, so I use a lot of machine embroidery thread. I've tried other much more expensive threads and keep going back to Simthread. They offer you high quality filament at a great price. Pictured are three 5500 yard spools I received for this order with an empty spool I bought at the national fabric store. I paid the same for 1 spool of Simthread (5500 yards) as for the small spool (1000 yards). Simthread has a much nicer "shimmer" and lighter coloring. By the way, I have Baby Lock Ellisimo Gold.
