Works, but can be annoying with frequent use.

This system is great for people who don't want the expense/hassle of connecting a hard pipe to an air system, but if I knew then what I know now I'd be in trouble. Good: You can ventilate your garage during the day. This installs much faster than any other air distribution method. Sharkbite connectors are really cool. It's nice to be able to quickly insert and remove the air duct if you want to change configurations. The bad: They'll never fix air leaks - they're not significant, but my compressor kicks on every half hour even when I'm not. do nothing with the system. I ended up adding extra ball valves to the system so I could shut off parts that weren't being used to reduce air loss. 45 degree output parts are not very high quality. One came with a crack - luckily I was able to work around that. Since they don't have a built in swivel, you should hope that you can adjust it to the right angle when screwing it in. Back holes on output boxes are fine if you're doing things in the wall, but if you're not, the end caps won't fit flush with the enclosure, making it difficult to screw the boxes to the wall and mount them flush. The bolt holes in the bushings are wide enough that you probably won't be able to hit the bolt on either side. If you mount it on the wall, its flexibility will cause the system to sag in horizontal sections unless you use a ridiculous amount (not included) of hose clamps. You may need more than what is included in this kit. If you're using a typical 30-50 gallon home air compressor, there's likely a 3/8 inch line coming out and the junction box is looking for 1/2 inch. I ended up using one of the 3/8" outlet boxes as the inlet from the compressor and placing the junction box on the ceiling to power my 1/2" air coil - this protected the ceiling mount from the future when I installed the replaced compressor with something more helpful. With one set it is not possible to drain moisture. You will need to purchase T-profiles and additional connectors to install this. In many cases this isn't strictly necessary, especially if you have an in-line dryer, but on long air chisel sessions that require the compressor to be filled multiple times, it can squirt enough water down the line to shut off the air dryer and it's nice to drain water from the pipes. Overall, expect to add around $40 to this kit in other parts for a fairly minimal setup (left wall, ceiling coil, right wall).
